Coaching in organizations is used to develop the intangibles in employees so that the organization's tangibles are increased.  How do you measure both the tangible and intangible impact of coaching?  Intangible qualities in employees are soft skills such as those identified in the National Association of College and Employees 2019 Job Outlook survey.  The survey results showed that employers seek four significant soft skills such as "critical thinking/problem solving, collaboration/teamwork, professionalism/work ethic, and oral/written communication."  In organizations, coaching is meant to create pathways to authentic work relationships, produce the ability to set and execute strategic goals, and build platforms for people to operate as their best possible selves (Simpson, 2014).
